Terry Meza has been connected to our community for generations. A fourth-generation Texan and descendant of the Farine settler family, she grew up the daughter of an Irving barber and business owner and is a former Irving High "Toy Tiger" drill team member.
Starting her career as an educator, Terry taught at Holy Family of Nazareth and as an instructor at North Lake College. She went on to attend graduate school at the University of Dallas and law school at Texas Wesleyan when it sat across from Texas Stadium.
As a licensed attorney and as a non-profit director, Terry Meza has personal experience in community building, having worked in the areas of economic development, workforce development, neighborhood revitalization, and historic preservation.
All of her experience is needed to meet the unique challenges that we face here in House District 105. Today, Terry wants to serve as your voice and your presence in Austin.
